Why I Love This Book

Wordy Birdy is a fun read and a great reminder about why it is so important to listen to others and pay attention to our surroundings.  In addition to teaching a great lesson, this book is also funny and fast paced.

This book presents the importance of listening in a fun way that's not too serious, yet is still able to get the point across. It's always better to listen more than you speak or at least as much as you speak.

The cover art definitely gives a hint about what you can expect from this bird!

This story is a perfect one to read over and over again. Each reading is an opportunity for a new and important lesson.

My favorite part of each guide has to be the comprehension questions. We read together all the time, but  I never know what questions to ask. These guides have the basic questions, but also, deeper thought provoking questions that really get my kids  thinking!     Andrea Lubitz - Charlotte, NC
