The Runaway Bunny was groundbreaking was first published back in 1942, a full five years before Goodnight Moon, another book by Margaret Wise Brown.
It's a fun book to read and a great way to learn or review the letters of the alphabet. Years ago there was an audio version of this book read by none other than Ray Charles. I couldn't find it for you to purchase, but I did locate this YouTube link. enjoy!
