When I discovered this cool journal, I purchased 4 of them for me to fill out with my future grandchildren. It has one question for you to ask each day and it lasts for 3 years. I truly do wish that I'd had this for my own children. I would love to see how their answers change over time. Wait, maybe I should have purchased additional copies so that I could take it all the way through  each child's 8th year (I'd probably start at age 3).
Questions in the journal include:
  • When was the last time you got in trouble
  • What do you like best about yourself?
  • What's is your favorite thing to do with______?

These silky smooth crayons are so much easier for a preschooler to work with. I fell in love with this type of crayon years ago and I've never gone back to the traditional waxy crayons.
This set of 24 bold colors will last for a long time... much longer than their competitors.

My family has completed a first copy of this book and has now started filling a second. Each year we add a photo or multiple photos, a copy of our Christmas Card, a list of who we celebrated with, events of the season, and highlights of the past year.

Every Christmas we pull out the books and spend time reminiscing.  It's a great visual record of our family. This is one of my "go-to" gifts for bridal showers.
