I wanted to share great resources with all of you. A virtual tip of the hat. of sorts.
Let me preface this post by saying that I have never actually met any of these incredible women, but if I ever did, I think that we'd be fast friends. If you like what we're doing at Read it Again, I think you'll also enjoy each of the sites that follow.

Ruby Reads - This site has very cool book boxes with all the supplies needed in order to complete the activities that align with each story. However, what I LOVE the most are the huge (28” x 40”) read aloud posters this site sells! The illustrations are simply beautiful and the wide variety of educational opportunities within each poster provide you with weeks of interactions for your kids as you read the novel aloud.
Don't be fooled, these are not simply large coloring sheets.
Each poster has specially-designed spaces to complete together, such as: character portraits, vocabulary builders, illustrated story maps, and story timelines.

Stay at Home Activity Mom - Brittany, the owner of this company, has her eye on the preschool learner. She sells monthly themed activity boxes, sensory jars, STEAM kits, and a full year’s curriculum for you and your preschooler titled, Play at Home Preschool. I absolutely LOVE and EMBRACE her fun approach to learning.

Book Nerd Mommy - This site is FULL of incredible reading opportunities. I'm telling all my kindergarten teacher friends about her book lists. There's a list for just about any topic you can imagine! In addition, be sure to check out everything associated with the RECIPES menu. She has cool recipes that align with tons of great books. She also has book lists for just about every age and topic.

Days with Grey - My best friend's daughter couldn't stop talking about this site. While it's not specifically a "reading site", I still wanted to include it. Beth, the site owner is best know for her series of “Breakfast Invitations”. Breakfast invitations are simple games or activities that inspire creativity and independent play throughout the day. What's cool is that they're designed to be put out at night and ready for the kids when they wake up the next morning. Best of all, they're SO simple to create.
